Stars & Bucks Coffee

This is the Stars & Bucks Café in Ramallah, West Bank. Though this is obviously a ripoff of America's favorite skinny soy Milky Way double shot latté with non-fat organic whipped cream and one chocolate sprinkle, there is a real deal Nike Store just down the street, which I found pretty surprising. I stared through the window for at least twenty minutes trying to discover whether the Nike Store was a real, authentic branch or an elaborately constructed fake, and I decided that even though the store was obviously real (there was one behind my house in Cairo too), it was cooler to think of it as a fake and imagine the weeks and months of planning and procurement that went into the incredibly well done forgery.
