These are photos from my recent trip to Japan. Alex and I had a wonderful time traveling in her region, Okayama Prefecture, and also in Tokyo and Osaka. I'll post a second batch of photos soon. I was lucky to be in Japan during Sakura season, the season when thousands of cherry blossom trees come into bloom. We also went to a Sumo wrestling competition!! In Tokyo, we went to Tsukiji fish market, a sprawling complex that supplies Tokyo with 90% of its fish on a daily basis. It was, in a word, amazing.
