Jazz Factory

This week was the start of Jazz Factory, an international jazz festival and concert series sponsored by the European Commission. I've been going to see some of the groups, and I took these photos on Wednesday night at Manial Palace, during the opening night festivities. It's so much fun to take pictures of people who are clearly enjoying what they're doing, especially when they're surrounded by nebulous clouds in every color of the cosmic rainbow—practically looks like they're standing in the Milky Way. Smoke machine is a pain, but what can you do.
